This Fisherman Mask is carved in red cedar by Russell Tate from the Ditidaht First Nation on the southwest coast of Vancouver Island. The mask is painted in red, blue and black acrylic and features a painted salmon and fishnet design. The mask is accented with black hair and sinew. This mask is about 8 1/4 inches or 21 centimeters high, 6 1/2 inches or 17 centimeters wide and about 6 3/4 inches or 16 centimeters deep. With hair, the mask is about 15 1/2 inches or 40 cm high.
