"Meeting the Need" Food Bank Drive & Fundraiser
With the cost of many basic necessities skyrocketing this year, we are all feeling these challenging times. High grocery prices and supply chain issues mean that many families are struggling to put food onto the table, and more and more people are turning to Food Banks for support. Food Banks across the country are feeling stretched thin as they struggle to meet the demand.
We invite you to take part in our “Meeting the Need” Food Bank Drive & Fundraiser to collect non-perishable foods, essential items, and monetary donations to assist families and children in our community. From now until Dec 31st 2022 we invite you to come by Spirits of the West Coast Art Gallery and bring your donations to support our local Comox Valley Food Bank. We ask everyone who is able to give generously—the need is great!
In addition to supporting your local community, each contributor will be entered into a draw for a Gift Bag valued at over $300.00, made up of Northwest Coast Indigenous gifts and jewelry. We will draw one lucky winner on Monday January 2nd 2023.
Donations in-gallery: We accept cash, cheque, debit, or e-transfer to firstname.lastname@example.org. If sending an e-transfer please add a notation of “Comox Valley Food Bank” along with your full name and phone number to be entered into our draw.
