Earl Muldon
Earl Muldon is a Gitxsan Native Master Carver from Hazelton, BC. He is from the Beaver – Eagle Clan and is the Hereditary Chief of the House of Delgamuukw. His works includes gold and silver jewellery, large totem poles, masks, bentwood boxes and bowls, rattles, house fronts, limited edition prints as well as original paintings. The carved entry doors at the UBC Museum of Anthropology in Vancouver, British Columbia is just one example of his many important works. Between 1969 and 1984 Earl was an instructor at the Kitanmax School of Northwest Coast Native Indian Art at 'Ksan in northern British Columbia. He is the recipient of the 2009 BC Creative Lifetime Achievement Award for Aboriginal Art and was awarded the prestigious Order of Canada in 2011 by the Right Honourable David Johnson, Governor General of Canada.
