This Thunderbird and Orca or Killer Whale Bentwood Box is carved out of yellow and red cedar by Karver Everson from the K’ómoks and Kwaguʼł Nations.
Two of the yellow cedar box sides come together to represent design elements of the Thunderbird's head, with copper and abalone eyes, beak, feathers, and horns, while the adjacent two sides come together to represent the power and majesty of the Thunderbird's wings. The red cedar top is carved with an Orca or Killerwhale design that also incorporates a copper and abalone eye.
The bentwood box is over 14 inches or over 35 centimeters high and about 11 inches or 28 centimeters wide and deep.
The price includes shipping to the USA and Canada.
