This Frog Mask Pendant was hand-carved by Kwakwaka'wakw artist Sean Whonnock. The pendant was carved from yellow cedar and painted in green, red, black, grey and orange acrylic. Cedar bark trims the edges of the pendant. The pendant had an adjustable black rope necklace attached with beads.
The Frog symbolizes wealth and abundance. When a Frog is portrayed in art with his tongue touching another creature, it represents the sharing of knowledge and power.

The pendant measures approximately 4 inches or 10 centimeters high, 2 3/4 inches or 7 centimeters wide, and 1 inch or 2 1/2 centimeters deep.
