This Bear Mask is carved in red cedar by Russell Tate from the Ditidaht First Nation on the southwest coast of Vancouver Island. The mask is painted in red and black acrylic and features inset abalone eyes. The mask is accented with bundles of red cedar bark. This mask is about 10 1/2 inches or 27 centimeters high, 7 inches or 18 centimeters wide and about 6 3/4 inches or 17 centimeters deep.
