This is a sand-blasted and painted yellow cedar Raven Paddle by Trevor Hunt from the Kwakwaka'wakw Nation. Trevor has applied his sandblasted technique to this paddle and the result is a complex and deeply grooved contemporary design. The paddle is about 38 1/2 inches or 97 3/4 centimeters long, about 4 inches or 10 centimeters wide, and about 1 inch or 2 1/4 centimeters thick.
