Custom Northwest Coast Jewelry (Copy)
We work with a number of respected Northwest Coast Indigenous jewelers to create one-of-a-kind, hand-carved jewelry for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, special occasions and personal milestones, and more. A commissioned piece allows you to be involved in the creative process, with designs that can incorporate a family crest, traditional or original imagery, engraving, precious or semi-precious stones, and your choice of metal.
Available Materials & Options
Metals: 14 karat or higher yellow, white, and rose gold, sterling silver, copper, or a combination of multiple metals.
Stones: Precious and semi-precious stones in an array of sizes, depending on the design.
Custom Jewelry is an Investment
Each piece of jewelry is uniquely designed and hand-carved by an artist rather than mass-produced. The price reflects the materials, including precious metals and stones, as well as the artist's time, skill, and craftsmanship. Gold pieces, larger designs, precious stones, and intricate carving can represent a significant investment.
Because every piece is unique, we provide quotes based on the specific design, materials, size, preferred artist, and more.
Get a Quote: To provide an accurate quote, we will need to know your preferred metal, stone preferences, design, timeline, and preferred artist.
Planning for your Commission

Do you have a preferred artist? If not, we can recommend an artist based on your design and budget.
-
When do you need it by? (ie. Wedding or Anniversary Date)
Sending images of pieces you have seen or other inspiration is always encouraged.
The Commission Process
-
Tell us what you have in mind. Send us your ideas, inspiration and requirements.
-
Discuss the details. We will help determine the appropriate materials, size, and design.
-
We connect with the artist. We will discuss your project with an artist whose work is suited to the commission.
-
Receive a quote. Once the details are established, we'll provide a price for the piece.
-
The artist creates your piece. Once approved, the artist begins creating your one-of-a-kind jewelry.
Please allow ample time for custom commissions. Timelines vary depending on the artist, complexity of the design, materials and their current workload. If your piece is for a wedding or other specific date, please let us know when you inquire.
We appreciate your patience and look forward to helping you create a piece that is meaningful and made to last.
Sizing for Rings and Bracelets
Ring sizing
You may refer to our international ring sizing chart for guidance; however, we strongly recommend having your finger professionally sized by a local jeweler before placing the order. Be sure to tell them the width of the ring you are planning to order, as wider rings generally require a slightly larger size. For tapered rings, please be sized based on the width of the back of the ring.
Important: Many of our artists include a ‘sizing gap’ at the back of the ring, whereby a jeweler may add or remove metal to adjust the size if needed. We do not offer resizing services in the gallery.
Bracelet sizing
Generally, the appropriate bracelet length is equal to the circumference measurement of your wrist; ie., a wrist measuring 17cm in circumference should fit a 17cm long bracelet comfortably. All of our bracelets are a ‘cuff’ style, with a gap at the back. They are therefore somewhat flexible in size. Our bracelets usually fit a wrist that has a circumference of between 1/4" or 1/2 cm smaller and up to 1/2" or 1 1/4 cm larger than the posted length of our bracelets.
