Living Traditions - Satellite Exhibition
Living Traditions: Indigenous Art of the Northwest Coast is an exhibition celebrating the enduring artistic traditions of the Northwest Coast Indigenous Peoples. This exhibition brings together an array of hand-carved masks, paddles, panels, and limited-edition prints, all created by First Nations artists who are deeply connected to their communities and cultures. Through their work, these artists carry forward generations of knowledge, tell stories, honour their ancestors, and express their identities.

Rooted in traditions passed down for generations, each piece reflects the continuity of Northwest Coast Indigenous art as a living tradition. While honouring ancestral teachings, today's artists continue to build upon them, ensuring these cultural practices thrive - remaining vibrant, relevant, and meaningful for future generations. Together, these works celebrate the resilience, creativity, and enduring strength of Northwest Coast Indigenous cultures.
