This Sea Wolf Headdress was hand-carved by Kwakwaka'wakw artist Ernest Puglas. It has been carved from yellow cedar, painted in black, grey, and white acrylic, and is adorned with two small bundles of cedar bark. Included is a red cedar stand painted in black acrylic.

Not including the stand, the headdress measures approximately 21 3/4 inches or 55 1/4 centimeters long, 8 1/2 inches or 21 1/2 centimeters wide, and 7 1/2 inches or 19 centimeters high. When sitting on the stand, the headdress and stand together measure approximately 21 1/2 inches or 54 1/4 centimeters long, 18 1/2 inches or 47 centimeters high, and 10 inches or 25 1/4 centimeters wide.
