The Sculpin
The Native Sculpin Symbol is a widespread family crest used by families from the Haida, the Kwakwaka´wakw, Kwakiutl or Kwaguilth People as well as families from other West Coast Nations. The Sculpin is closely associated with Komokwa, the King of the Undersea World. The sculpin has an affinity to copper and to treasures. Representations of the Sculpin will often be seen in dances during the winter ceremonies.
