This large Kwagiulth Style Grouse Mask is painted and carved from beautiful old growth yellow cedar by Tom Patterson from the Nuu-chah-nulth Nation. It is the largest and most beautifully carved and painted Grouse Mask from Tom that we have ever seen. The top, sides and bottom of the mask are decorated with cedar bark and grouse feathers. Including the cedar bark the mask is about 35 inches or over 89 centimeters long, 32 inches or 81 1/2 centimeters wide and about 21 inches or over 53 centimeters deep. Without the cedar bark the mask is 18 inches or 46 centimeters long, 12 1/2 inches or 32 centimeters wide and about 9 inches or over 23 centimeters deep.
