Chief Tony Hunt
Chief Tony Hunt was born in 1942 in the village of T’saxis ( Fort Rupert) and is the hereditary chief of the Kwaguilth People of Fort Rupert.
Chris descends from the Thunderbird Clan of the Namgis tribe (in Alert Bay) of the Kwakwaka'wakw (Kwakiutl) Nation.
Chris Russ, Haida
Northwest Coast Haida Native artist Chris Russ carves in wood, argillite, silver and gold. He is well known for his beautiful jewelry, argillite carvings and more.
The Master Carver Clayton Gladstone has been carving wood and jewellery in Skidegate on Haida Gwaii since 1977.
Cliff Wilson was born and raised in Port Alberni. As a child, he grew up in a culturally eclectic environment, and was surrounded by artists from his Coast Salish heritage.

Ed Russ or Gitajung was born in 1953 in Masset on Haida Gwaii. He is a member of the Eagle clan on Haida Gwaii.
Ernest Swanson, also known as Giinowaan Skillaw Edenson Yalthtadzee is a Haida artist, who works with a variety of mediums.
Eugene Isaac was born on March 22, 1958 in Alert bay Kwakwaka'wakw Nation.
Haida Artist Fred Davis was born in 1955 in Masset, Haida Gwaii, BC. He is a descendant of the Haida Raven Clan.
Although Garner was born in Prince Rupert, he was raised in Skidegate by his adoptive parents Lloyd and Muriel Moody, on Haida Gwaii.
Gene Brabant was born in Victoria B.C. on October 16 1946. Gene spent a lot time at the royal British Columbia museum looking at the ancient pieces in their collection.
Native American Artist George James was born in 1948 in Alert Bay. He is a member and a carver of the Kwakwaka’wakw Nation.

George Yeltatzie is an experienced Haida Carver. He lives and carves in the Village of Masset on Haida Gwaii.
Gittsxaa or Ronald Wilson
Giitsaxx was born in 1945 in Skidegate on Haida Gwaii, as the first nephew of Haida Chief Cumshewa of the Eagle Clan of Cumshewa.
Glen Rabena was born in Wapato, Washington. He began carving in Northwest Coast style in Seattle in 1970. The following year he moved to Quesnel, B. C.
The late Gordon Cross was a highly respected Haida Master Carver living and working in Skidegate, Haida Gwaii.
Gordon Dick is Nuu-chah-nuth from the Tsheshaht tribe on the West Coast of Vancouver Island where he grew up and still resides.
Greg Henderson is a Kwakwaka'wakw Native Artist from the Wei Wai Kum First Nation of Campbell River.
