This is a deeply hand carved 5 foot yellow cedar Kwakiutl Wolf Paddle with a carved and painted Sea Serpent or Sisiutl design close to the handle. The paddle is deeply carved and painted by Trevor Hunt from the Kwakiutl or Kwakwaka´wakw Nation.

The Wolf Symbol represents loyalty, strong family ties, good communication, education, understanding, and intelligence. Of all land animals, the Wolf has the strongest supernatural powers and is the most accomplished hunter.
