This Haida Argillite Wolf Pendant was hand-carved in 1983 by Master Carver Ron Russ from the Haida Nation. It features three ivory inlays around the Wolf, and two abalone inlays in the eyes.
The Wolf Symbol represents loyalty, strong family ties, good communication, education, understanding, and intelligence. Of all land animals, the Wolf has the strongest supernatural powers and is the most accomplished hunter.

The pendant measures approximately 1 3/4 inches or 4 1/2 centimeters wide and 2 inches or 5 centimeters high.
