This Copper Maker Woman Mask or Tłaḵwagila'ogwa is by Kwakwaka'wakw artist Raymond Shaw. The mask is hand-carved in red cedar and painted in red, green, and black acrylic. The mask has been finished with copper and abalone eyes, a copper septum nose ring, abalone earrings, and auburn horsehair.

In Kwakwaka'wakw culture, Tłaḵwagila'ogwa is the Chief of the Undersea People's Wife. He is known as Komokwa or "Copper Maker", while Tłaḵwagila'ogwa means “Born to Be Copper Maker’s Woman.”
