Haida Beaver Argillite Pole hand carved by Native American Carver Denny Dixon. This Beaver Totem Pole features a hat with 2 Potlatch rings and shows his tail between his front and back legs. The carving is close to 5 inches or 13 centimeters high, 1 1/4 inches or a little over 3 centimeters wide and deep. The base is about 1 1/2 inches or close to 4 centimeters wide and deep, as well as 1/4 of an inch or .6 centimeters thick. It weighs a little over 7 ounces or 200 grams. The Argillite Pole was carved in 1982 and it looks like it might have had a small repair by the artist or another expert, that is hardly visible, on the top left side of the carving. The pole is in excellent condition. Shipping to the USA or Canada is included.
